EPL's CUe-Statements module enables the electronic distribution of monthly statements, which have traditionally been issued in printed form. By using CUe-Statements, credit unions can conveniently transfer publishing and distribution chores to the Internet. This yields tremendous cost savings and time efficiencies.
CUe-Statements allows credit union members to individually choose to have their combined member statements received electronically via the Internet instead of through the mail. Members who select this service will receive an e-mail notifying them their statement is ready for viewing via the Internet. A printed statement will no longer be produced and mailed. Members may self-register for this service by logging on to the credit union's home banking service or the credit union may sign them up manually. Once registered, they may link to EPLís secure CUe-Statement servers where they will be able to view twelve months of combined statements.
CUe-Statements also provides additional marketing capabilities by allowing credit unions to create custom banner messages and to post electronically two inserts of up to four pages with each statement. Development time normally required to print, insert, and mail statement stuffers is cut dramatically. In addition, electronic marketing can be targeted according to customer billing profiles.
EPL hosts the server where twelve months of every membersí statements are stored for credit unions, so authorized credit union employees may also retrieve and view statements for any member (whether they have selected CUe-Statements or not) on-line via the EPL network (or Internet connection) using a PC with qualified Web Browser. Credit Unions may have multiple users with access to statements secured by the permission levels established by the Credit Union and EPL. EPLís charges provide for commercially reasonable Firewall and other security precautions necessary to ensure the privacy of information retained, file/disaster back-up procedures to restore in a reasonable time period the information retained, and the license/subscription fees and annual maintenance/support fees for the hardware and software used by EPL to provide this service.
